Code Switch

Code Switching is the process of shifting from one linguistic code (a language or dialect) to another. We use code switching to shape and maintain our sense of identity. This is especially true for marginalized and underrepresented groups.

Wild out with this intersectional AF all-POC comedy troupe doing improv inspired by true stories of minorities adapting their communication hustle & flow to survive and succeed in America. If you're a minority, 1st gen/2nd gen immigrant, 3rd culture kid, or a fan of intersectional comedy, you’re going to want to catch this team in action. This is The Code Switch.

The troupe & improv form was created from an advanced all-POC improv class taught and directed by UCB’s brilliant Lou Gonzalez (IFC’s Wedding Season, UCB team Higgins, The Mannequin Room) so you know it’s gonna be Lit as Hell!
