Magical Lying Hour

Thurs, June 9 at 5:30 pm & Sat, June 11 at 7 pm

In Magical Lying Hour an actor and improviser work together to create a scene that cannot exist any other way. As usual, the actor has prepared a scene to perform; as usual, the improviser has prepared themselves for spontaneous exploration. The actor will not deviate from their lines, the improviser can't help but create chaos. The two work together to create a scene that isn't quite planned, but isn't fully improvised either. For Magical Lying Hour, every night is opening night.

An illustration of two actors standing on some sand next to a broken hourglass holding pages of a script. It says, "An actor. An improviser. Every night is opening night. Magical Lying Hour"
