Kaisa is an improviser, director and educator - has learned, performed and taught improvised theater for 20 years both in her native Finland and abroad. In addition to improvised work, Kaisa has also extensive experience in scripted theatre both on stage and in directing. Her studies of the artform under many great teachers span the globe, including iO Chicago, Unexpected Productions in Seattle and Loose Moose with Keith Johnstone. She has had the pleasure of teaching and performing improv in North, Central and South America, Australia and all over Europe so far. Kaisa is the co-founder of Impro Helsinki (2018), a theater school dedicated to acting and improvisation in Helsinki, Finland. Kaisa specializes in deep and meaningful connections, relationship based grounded scene work and musical improvisation. Kaisa firmly believes in the strengthening power of improv and is thrilled to be part of something that will — little by little — change the world!
